If you are from Las Cruces, what communities are good retirement communities? If you are from out of tow, what features are you looking for in a retirement community?
By now hopefully you know that Las Cruces has been recognized time and again as one of the best places in the county to retire. If this is news to you, please take a look at these Las Cruces recognitions.
Time and again Las Cruces is applauded for its excellent weather, rich culture, university setting, convenient location and overall lifestyle. Sometimes those of us who live here have a hard time remembering just how lucky we are. We recently had a discussion with a few readers about the best things in Las Cruces, and found that many of them correlate with the things that retirees are looking for.
So for those of you looking to retire, we hope you will consider retiring in Las Cruces. Once you have made that decision, we have a great area of town to show you: The Boulders on the Green.
The first thing to say about the Boulders on the Green is that it is a gated 55+ adult community. This means all of your neighbors are in the same situation that you are. The club house offers a central location for activites and the gym, pool and spa are the icing on the cake.
The second thing to say about the Boulders on the Green is that it is located along the Sonoma Ranch Golf Course. The Sonoma Ranch Gold Course is currently the newest golf course in Las Cruces, and the Sonoma Ranch community is one of the best planned communities in Las Cruces.
The Sonoma Ranch Master Planned Community has several parks, walking trails and bike paths. Located on the east side of town, Sonoma Ranch is a thriving community that is close to shopping, entertainment and food. In fact, the Sunset Grill, which is a local favorite for it's great food, is located right next to the Sonoma Ranch Golf Course Clubhouse.
When you are ready to retire, consider moving to the Boulders on the Green.
