ESSENTIAL GOVERNMENT AGENCY CONTACTS

We have tried to provide you with a comprehensive resource to find all the information you may need about how to contact all of the Governmental Departments, Facilities and Services in the City of Las Cruces, Town of Mesilla,  Dona Ana County, and the State of New Mexico.

Prior to the Government listings we have separated out certain essential services that everyone needs at one time or another - Motor Vehicles Department - Post Office - and Taxation.

MOTOR VEHICLE REGISTRATION & DRIVER’S LICENSES

While we all dread the inevitable visit to the MVD, after you have moved to Las Cruces, you will need to drop by and establish your residency as required by New Mexico State law by obtaining your NM drivers license.  With a new larger facility the State has moved forward to accommodate your needs even more efficiently. For an added fee you can also get all the basic registration and licensing at the MVD Express.  Faster service and less time.  For more information please visit.   http://www.mvdexpress.com/
